FionaThe Spice Shelf brings you handmade, gourmet spices and condiments that will tantalise your taste buds. Fiona Mertz, the founder of The Spice Shelf has spent many years making fresh curries for her friends and family. Her love of fine cuisine can now be enjoyed by many.

With health and vitality always at the forefront, the products are fresh and natural, using many local ingredients from the Edward River farm and neighbouring Swan Hill region, combined with exotic spices.

Self-taught, Fiona has adjusted flavours and ingredients to create a modern Australian twist on the curries. The pastes are ground to a slightly chunky state, allowing for individual flavours to be savoured.

Like most fresh products, the majority of these products need to be kept in the fridge. They have been vacuum packaged to retain freshness, avoiding the need to add preservatives, colour or flavours. All items are gluten free.

The Spice Shelf curry pastes give you the opportunity to have an authentic, preservative free curry without having to do the hard work. Now all you need to do is follow the simple steps on the recipe and hey presto - restaurant quality food on your table! It's aromatic, fresh and contemporary!
